Annie Mist Thorisdottir from Reykjavik Iceland is a CrossFit Athlete. She is the co-owner of Crossfit Reykjavik where she also instructs and trains. Annie is the first female to be crowned the winner of at the CrossFit Games twice. Her second place finish was at the 2010. CrossFit Games and the 2014 CrossFit Games. Annie Thorisdottir is an Icelandic weightlifter and also an Icelandic CrossFit athlete and celebrity media personality. The media acclaim she earned came from her becoming the first woman who been awarded twice at the CrossFit Games, in 2011 and 2012. Other accomplishments includes winning the Dubai Fitness competitions in 2017 and 2013. Annie was born and brought up in Reykjavik Iceland along with her parents and brothers. She enjoyed playing sports and started working out at an early age. The year 2009 saw Annie Thorisdottir took part in the CrossFit competition in California. Annie Thorisdottir has 31 years older (as in 2021). She stands at 5'7" and she weighs approximately about 67kg. Annie started her CrossFit training in the year 2009, in California. Annie did very well in her first competitions and finished in the top 10. However, she didn't win a title and finished with a 11th-place finish in the event. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. She finished 2nd in CrossFit Games in 2010 under Jami's direction. It was in her second year that she took part again in CrossFit Games. Due to her incredible performance she became the first woman to be awarded CrossFit Games. In 2012 Annie was again the winner of the CrossFit Games because of her exceptional performance and became the first woman to win two CrossFit Games consecutively. In 2014, Annie won a Silver Medal and most recently, in 2021, she took home a Bronze Medal in the CrossFit Games. At present, Annie is a coach and trainer at Crossfit Reykjavik which was started by her. Annie was a well-known athlete after gaining recognition. She's worked with many sports brands like Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Revolution Periodization Nuun Hydroxylysis Sidekick Yerbae, among others. She also has her own Youtube channel named "Annie" and has more than a thousand subscribers. It is the channel where she shares videos about eating habits, parenting and traveling.
